Lebanon, TN : Two people injured after multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 40 in Wilson County on Monday, May 11, 2015
Officials have cleared the scene of a three-vehicle crash that happened on Interstate 40 in Wilson County.
The westbound lanes were closed near Highway 70 but have since reopened.
The incident started when a truck hit the guardrail around 5:30 a.m. Monday, causing it to stick out into the interstate.
A second vehicle also hit the guardrail but was able to keep going.
A third vehicle then overturned as the driver tried to avoid hitting the guardrail.
Officials said the driver of the first vehicle left the scene and was later found walking down the interstate.
Minor injuries were reported from the crash.
