BRANDON, VT : 2 dead in Brandon crash on Wednesday, December 28th 2016

A deadly crash claims two lives in Brandon.

Police say it happened at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday on Route 7 near Otter Valley Union High School.

Specifics surrounding the crash remain unclear, but investigators say 84-year-old Charles Ovian and 83-year-old Sally Ovian died. The driver of the other vehicle involved, 22-year-old Ryan Kennelly of New Haven, Vermont suffered minor injuries.

The road was closed for several hours.
