DAYTON, OH : Victim Identified in U-Haul Crash on Wednesday, November 16th 2016
The man that was killed after driving his U-Haul into multiple parked cars Wednesday has been identified.
The Montgomery County Coroner identifies him as Craig D. Brown, 54, of Dayton.
It happened around 12:15 p.m. in the 2400 block of North Gettysburg Avenue in Dayton.
“This man, he had a heart attack and he just ran into the whole building and we’re in the back of the Stop N’ Shop,” according to a 911 caller. The caller says the man hit another car, pushing it into a building near the Stop N’ Shop.
The 911 caller said a passenger in the vehicle couldn’t move her leg. Dayton police confirmed that the driver of the U-Haul has died. It is unclear if he died from a heart attack, or from injuries suffered in the crash.
