State police say a 24-year-old Windham woman has died in a single-vehicle crash on Route 6 in Columbia.

Authorities say Jenifer Milhomme was headed west at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday when her car veered right, hit a mailbox and a guardrail, before crossing the eastbound lane and striking a tree.

Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation, and anyone with any information is asked to contact state police.
