A fourth person involved in a late-night crash July 10 has died.
Shanna Ard, 34, of Aiken, was pronounced Wednesday, July 19, at Augusta University Medical Center’s Shock Trauma Department, according to a release from Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton.
Ard was hospitalized following injures sustained in a vehicle accident that claimed the lives three people and injured two others.On July 10, the S.C. Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle collision at 11:02 p.m. Monday, July 10, in the 1400 block of Edgefield Highway, near Bethel Church Road, in Aiken County.
The victims were identified as Tyler Price, 32, of Aiken; Zoei Boatwright, 20, of Ridge Spring; and Andrew D. Sanders, 22, of Aiken, who was the driver of one of the vehicles, according to a release from the Aiken County Coroner’s Office.
The others injured in the accident were identified as Carlos Corona and Julia Putnam.
Sanders was the driver of a 2006 Chevy Impala traveling north on Highway 19 north; his passengers were Price, Ard and Boatwright, according to the release.
Corona was the driver of a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder. He was traveling south on Highway 19 north with his passenger, Julia Putnam, the release states.
