Everett, WA : Bicyclist killed in a fatal hit and run crash in Everett on Thursday evening, Nov 19, 2015

Everett police are investigating a fatal hit and run crash that killed a male bicyclist and a driver has been arrested.

Police says the bicyclist was struck Thursday evening by pickup truck that fled the scene. The cyclist died at the scene.

Officers arrested an Everett man believed to be involved in the crash. He was taken to a local hospital and is to be booked into Snohomish county Jail on investigation of vehicular homicide.

The area of 19th Avenue Southeast was closed to traffic several hours during the investigation.
