Los Angeles, CA : Three people killed in head-on collision with driver Riley Holman, 19, in North Hills area of Los Angeles on Sunday, Aug 9, 2015

Police say a 19-year-old man has been arrested following a suspected drunken-driving crash that killed three people and injured two others in Los Angeles.

Officer Norma Eisenman says the suspect was driving a Jeep Liberty that collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla early Sunday in the North Hills area.

Three people in the Corolla were killed and a fourth suffered critical injuries. Eisenman says all were men in their 20s.

After the initial collision the Toyota spun out and hit a Honda Accord. The driver of the Accord suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the Jeep, Riley Holman of Mission Hills, faces charges including gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. Eisenman didn't know if he has a lawyer.
