Gadsden, AL : Albertville man killed in wreck on Sunday, 4th September 2016

A single-vehicle crash Sunday claimed the life of an Albertville man.

Thomas Jerome Swearengin, 34, was killed when the 2005 GMC Sierra he was driving left the roadway and overturned.

Swearengin was not using a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred at 7:55 p.m. on U.S. 72 less than a mile east of Gurley. Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
