Two men were taken to Harrison Medical Center with injuries following a rear-end crash Wednesday afternoon on Highway 3, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Troopers were called to the southbound lanes of the highway shortly before 4 p.m.
They determined a 22-year-old Bremerton man driving a Kia Soul failed to stop for a Toyota Camry, driven by a 57-year-old Bremerton man, as both cars approached the Kitsap Mall Boulevard exit. The Kia Soul rear-ended the Camry, causing injuries to both men.
Both vehicles were destroyed.
Both men were wearing a seat belt.
Troopers said intoxicants weren't a factor in the crash.
The 22-year-old was cited for negligent driving.
