OGDEN, UT : Man in critical condition after motorcycle crash in Ogden on Friday, 27th April 2018

A man is in critical condition after a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV just after noon Friday in Ogden.

At approximately 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 27, a motorcycle was driving westbound on 36th Street in Ogden when it was hit by a small SUV at Adams Avenue, according to Ogden Police Department Lt. Brian Enyon. The SUV had stopped at a stop sign and the driver didn’t see the motorcycle when it pulled into the intersection, Enyon said.

The male motorcycle driver was taken by ambulance to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden in critical condition. He was not wearing a helmet, Enyon said.

A female passenger on the motorcycle had minor injuries from the crash.

Additional details about those involved in the crash have not been released.

The crash is under investigation. Ogden Police advised drivers to avoid the area as 36th Street is closed in both directions.
