An 11-year-old boy has died following a crash in Orange County, according to information from the Department of Public Safety.At approximately 8:30 p.m. Wednesday officials responded to a call in reference to a crash on FM 105 and Lakeview Cutoff.Initial investigation revealed that a 2014 KIA passenger vehicle was traveling north on FM 105 when it attempted to turn left. The vehicle was then struck on the passenger side by a 1993 Chevrolet pickup truck travelling south on FM 105.The 39-year-old driver of the KIA, of Vidor, was transported to a local hospital for her injuries. Her son, the passenger was transported to the same hospital with serious injuries where he later died, officials said.
