Wynne, AR : Woman dies in train vs. truck crash in Cross County on Monday, March 27, 2017

Arkansas State Police said one woman died following a truck versus train crash in Cross County.

According to a crash report, the crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, March 27 at a private drive crossing near Highway 49.

The report states Brittany Thorne of Farmington died when her 1997 Chevrolet Pickup was struck by a southbound train.

The report added that the vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the crash.

Weather conditions were clear and the roads were dry at the time of the crash, according to the report.
