BOSSIER CITY, LA : 3 people injured in Benton Rd. crash; 1 dead on Wednesday, 10th May 2023

A wreck on Wednesday (May 10) has left one person dead and two others injured.

The Bossier City Police Department was notified about a major car accident that happened at 2100 Benton Rd. near the intersection of Riverwood Dr. just before 5 p.m.

It appears that a full-size pickup truck side swiped a compact car and rear ended another small compact car at a high rate of speed, says Bossier City police. The driver of the vehicle that took the full rear end impact, along with two other occupants, were transported to Ochsner LSU Health.

One of them was then pronounced dead at the hospital. The other two are listed in stable condition. The driver of the pickup was also transported for medical treatment with moderate injuries.
