HAYDEN, ID : Bicyclist hit by car killed in Hayden on Wednesday, 27th September 2023

A bicyclist was hit and killed by a car in Hayden Wednesday morning.

Kootenai County Sheriff's deputies responded to a crash at the intersection of W. Lancaster Road and Warren Street around 7:45 a.m.

Deputies and members of the Northern Lakes Fire Department provided medical treatment to the bicyclist, who was eventually taken to Kootenai Health.

The bicyclist, identified as 83-year-old Ernest V. Miller of Hayden, later died in the hospital.
