Honolulu ,HI : Kaimuki woman dies after crash on King Street on Wednesday ,June 17th 2015

An 83-year-old woman died after the car she was driving hit a bicyclist and crashed into a wall on King Street.

Honolulu police said the Kaimuki woman had a medical episode and was trying to get herself to Straub Clinic and Hospital Wednesday morning.

She was trying to make a left into the hospital when she clipped a bicyclist in the bike lane. The woman was in critical condition, but later died.

An autopsy has been ordered to determine her official cause of death.

The bicyclist suffered minor injuries.
