Berkeley, CA : Pedestrian killed in collision with vehicle on highway on Tuesday, December, 26th 2017

A pedestrian died on eastbound Interstate 80 when they were struck by a vehicle early Tuesday morning, according to a Berkeley Patch news alert.

The collision was reported at 1:41 a.m. and was called in by the driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was walking in the right lane when the vehicle collided with them, the alert said.

The pedestrian died in the collision, according to the alert.
