Cambridge, OH : Women injured in head-on crash on Route 60 on Wednesday September 14 2016
A head-on collision on Route 60 in Morgan County Wednesday evening seriously injured two female motorists including a Stockport resident who remained in critical condition.
Monica L. Sweat-Dille, 18, remained in critical condition at Ohio Health's Grant Medical Center in Columbus where she was flown by MedFlight following the accident at approximately 5:54 p.m. near mile post 1 on Route 60.
The second driver, Laekin Westfall, 22, Malta, remained in serious condition at Marietta Memorial Hospital where she was taken by Beverly EMS.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Sweat-Dille was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Impala north on Route 60 when she crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Westfall.
Neither alcohol nor drug appear to be a factor in the crash.
