Motorcyclist injured in Ocala crash on may, Saturday 20th 2017

A crash between a motorcycle and a station wagon in Ocala sent the motorcyclist to a hospital.

Officials said when they arrived at the intersection of NE 20th Street and 1st Avenue on Saturday they found the station wagon at the foot of a broken power pole.

Ocala Fire Rescue personnel requested the assistance of Ocala Electric Utilities workers due to the danger presented by the pole.

The driver of the station wagon was not injured.

The name of the biker injured in the crash has not been released.
