Flushing, OH : Man killed in crash on Route 149 in Belmont County early Sunday morning, March 19, 2017

A St. Clairsville man was killed in a one-vehicle crash early Sunday morning on Route 149 in rural Belmont County.

William Graham, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene near Flushing following the accident at approximately 1 a.m. He was not wearing a safety belt and was ejected from the vehicle he was driving, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The vehicle, driven by Graham, reportedly overturned multiple times after striking a ditch.

The highway patrol reported Graham was southbound on Route 149 when his vehicle veered off the left side of the roadway.

Excessive speed and driver impairment are suspected factors in the crash.
