A 19-year-old died in a two-vehicle crash on Arkansas 60 on Friday, according to a preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police.

Cody Alan Miller of Forrest City was driving a 1985 Honda south on Artis Lane in Faulkner County about 8:15 p.m. when he pulled out in front of a 2002 Ford Excursion that was headed west on Arkansas 60, according to the report.

The Ford hit the side of the Honda. Miller was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

A passenger in the Ford, Tammy Sanford, 35, of Conway was injured in the crash, according to the report, which did not give details of her condition.

Police said the weather was rainy and the road was wet at the time of the crash.
