ST. ALBANS, WV : Pedestrian hit killed on bridge on Sunday, 2nd June 2024

A man died Sunday night after deputies say he walked into traffic on a bridge in Kanawha County.
Kanawha County Sheriff’s deputies responded just before 11 p.m. to the area of 10 MacCorkle Avenue SW in St. Albans for a pedestrian who had been hit by a vehicle.
When Deputies and KCSO Reconstruction Units responded to the scene, they determined that Joshua Miller, 39, of St. Albans had walked into the traffic lane around the Amandaville Memorial Bridge when a vehicle heading east hit him.
Miller died at the scene from injuries suffered in the crash.
