CASSOPOLIS, MI : Three people were injured in separate vehicle crashes in Cass County on Tuesday, 1st May 2018

Three people were injured in separate vehicle crashes in Cass County Monday.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Department reported that Debra Hartline, 51, of Cassopolis was traveling north on Day Lake Road near Jeffries Street in Calvin Township on her motorcycle at about 5:15 p.m. when she tried to pass another vehicle.

Deputies said Hartline sideswiped the vehicle driven by Edward Mclachlan, 57, of Reed City, then lost control of her motorcycle and crashed into a yard. Hartline was taken by Life Care ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of injuries. She was not wearing a helmet, police said.
