CARMICHAEL, CA : 2 minors seriously hurt, 7 others injured in Carmichael crash on Thursday, 23rd November 2023

Nine people were hurt, two critically, in a Carmichael crash involving two cars Thursday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened in the 5000 block of Cypress Avenue near Walnut Avenue just after 2 p.m., according to Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.

Two minors were transported with critical injuries but are now stable, according to CHP. Their ages are unknown and officials say they were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The conditions and ages of the other seven people are also unknown at this time.
