Torrance, CA : Two people were injured in a hit-and-run crash in Torrance on Thursday, November, 9th 2017

Two people were injured in a hit-and-run crash in Torrance involving a plumbing van that sent another vehicle careening into a home, police said Thursday.

The crash occurred just after 8 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Engracia Avenue, according to Sgt. Ronald Harris of the Torrance Police Department. The plumbing van struck a parked vehicle that was occupied and a second vehicle that veered into a nearby residence, Harris said.

The driver of the plumbing van fled and the drivers of the two struck vehicles sustained minor to moderate injuries and were taken to a hospital, according to Harris, who said the residence was damaged but no one inside was injured.
