Carson City , NV : 66- Years old pedestrian was killed after Struck by Motorcycle at intesection of Telegraph S on Tuesday night , December 9th 2014

The pedestrian who was killed after being struck by a motorcycle in Carson City has been identified as 66-year-old Michael Shields.

Shields was a resident of Carson City.


The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a crash where a motorcyclist struck and killed a pedestrian.

The motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and there is no word on his condition.

According to NHP Trooper Dave Gibson, the crash happened around 5:30 p.m. in Carson City. The pedestrian was crossing Stewart Street, between Proctor and Musser Street.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, but police have not released his name.
