Dover, DE : Man, 40, hit by 2 cars, killed on US 13 in Dover on U.S. Route 13 on Saturday night, November 8, 2014

State police say a 40-year-old man was killed after he walked directly into the path of a car on South DuPont Highway in Dover. Police say Richard Daniels Jr. of Dover did not use a marked crosswalk when he tried to cross the U.S. Route 13 on Saturday night. He was struck shortly before 8 p.m. After being hit, he was thrown into the roadway and hit by another car. He died at the scene. Neither driver was injured, and no charges have been filed.
