North Haven, CT : Bridgeport man dies in North Haven crash, Hartford man survives on Saturday, 4th April, 2020

A Bridgeport man died and a Hartford man was injured in a one-car crash in North Haven over the weekend, state police said.
Jose Gilberto Olivo-Figueroa, 22, of Central Avenue was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His passenger, Julio Vidal Torres-Cordero, 23, of Elliott Place, was taken there to be treated for what appeared to be minor injuries, police said.
According to the state police, the crash happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. Saturday, when Olivo-Figueroa was driving south on Route 15 between exits 64 and 63. He lost control and veered onto the right shoulder, striking trees before coming to a final rest.
