Dewey-Humboldt, AZ : Florida man, 68, killed in scooter crash after midnight on Thursday, 27th September 2018

A 68-year-old Florida man died early Thursday when his scooter wrecked in Pasco County after midnight.

The Florida Highway Patrol report did not identify the victim by name.

Troopers said the man from New Port Richey was riding a scooter on Little Road when he missed a left curve in the road about 12:45 a.m. and crashed into a crosswalk sign at the northeast corner of an intersection.

He was rushed to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point where he died.
