CHARLOTTE, NC : 53-year-old man dies after crash in west Charlotte on Wednesday, 30th September, 2020

A 53-year-old man died Wednesday after a wreck earlier that morning in west Charlotte, police said.
Timothy Stancil was driving a 2000 Ford F-350 Super Duty truck when he tried to make a left onto Wilkinson Boulevard from Fieldridge Road just before 8 a.m. A 2008 Chevrolet driving west on Wilkinson Boulevard struck the Ford truck, and Stancil and the front-seat passenger were thrown from the vehicle.
They were not wearing seat belts, investigators said.
