Kershaw County, SC : Driver killed in single-vehicle crash on I-20 near Camden on Friday, January 30, 2015

A driver was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 20 near Camden Friday.

According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation, the crash happened around 1 p.m. in the westbound lanes near mile marker 99, which is in the vicinity of the U.S. 521 exit.

The driver, who was from North Carolina, was wearing a seat belt and had to be removed from the vehicle, troopers said.

The name of the driver has not been released.
