Folsom, CA : 2 killed in White Rock Road crash on Monday, March 20, 2017

Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle accident which resulted in White Rock Road being closed today, March 20.

The crash occurred at 8:20 a.m. eastbound on White Rock, near Prairie City Road, officials said.

Forty-one year old Christopher Haynes, of El Dorado Hills, was driving a Toyota Highlander at 80 to 100 mph west on White Rock when he crossed over onto the eastbound lanes and collided with two vehicles – a sedan and minivan.

The minivan was hit head-on and resulted in killing a 21-year-old woman and Haynes, officials said.

The sedan was driving behind the minivan and as they drove into the collision, they spun out of control. The driver was transported to the hospital suffering injuries.

There were no passengers occupying the three vehicles.

Officials said White Rock Road is now open in both directions.
