Brooklet, GA: Police chase in Bulloch Co. leads to wreck on Wednesday, July 22nd 2015

A driver led police on a chase that ended in a violent crash at the intersection of Georgia Highway 67 and Brooklet-Denmark Road, around 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.Georgia State Patrol troopers tell WTOC the driver of a white vehicle led police on the chase, crossing the intersection and slamming into a pickup truck, splitting it in half. The truck hit a car, causing that car to hit an SUV.Crews flew the driver of the pickup truck by Air Evac for treatment in Savannah. The driver in the chase resisted police and had to be tazed in order to be arrested. He was taken to East Georgia Regional Medical Center, but he remains under arrest.
