Etowah, AR : 87-year-old woman killed and another injured in a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday August 4th 2015.

One Blytheville woman was killed and another injured in a single-vehicle crash.

Lavern Holbrooks, 87, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in Etowah, according to Arkansas State Police. It happened just before 2 p.m. Tuesday.

The crash report from police states Holbrooks was the passenger in a vehicle traveling west on Arkansas Highway 140 just west of Highway 136.

Police state the vehicle left the road, struck a driveway and flipped.

The driver of the vehicle, Vivian Royer also of Blytheville, was taken to a Memphis hospital with unknown injuries.
