Sturgis,MI : 3 injured in one-vehicle crash on may, monday 15th 2017
Three people were injured, with one suffering serious injury, in a one-car crash Monday in Lockport Township.
The incident occurred around noon. St. Joseph County sheriff’s deputies said a vehicle carrying four people was heading west in the 20000 block of Centreville-Constantine Road at a high speed, when the car went off the road and back onto it, then began to spin out of control.
The vehicle crossed both lanes then struck a tree, coming to rest on its top.
One of the occupants was ejected, and was airlifted to Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Two others who were injured were taken by ambulance to Borgess. Hospital by Three Rivers Ambulance
Occupants are residents of Marcellus and Elkhart, Ind, deputies said. No names or ages were released by authorities.
The crash remains under investigation. Speed is believed to be a factor.
