Hannibal, MO : Two people injured in collision on U.S. 61 south of Hannibal on Monday night, May 9, 2016
Two people were injured in a Monday night crash on U.S. 61, one mile south of Hannibal.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by Pan Feng, 25, of Tacoma, Wash., was northbound with no headlights on at 8:42 p.m. when it struck the side of a 2015 Chevrolet Spark driven by Nathaniel M. Trone, 22, of Canton, Ill., which was eastbound and crossing the highway.
Two passengers in the Trone vehicle -- Andrew J. Marvel, 19, and Emilea P. Miller, 19, both of Canton -- were transported by Marion County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
Both drivers and both passengers were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.
The patrol was assisted by the Ralls County Sheriff's Department, Marion County Ambulance and Hannibal Rural fire Department.
