Cave Junction, OR : Three people died in a vehicle crash on Highway 199 near Cave Junction on Thursday, Sep 10, 2015

Oregon State Police say three people have died in a vehicle crash on Highway 199 near Cave Junction.

The Medford Mail Tribune reports two people died at the scene and a third died later at a local hospital. Two others were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The crash was reported just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Oregon State Police spokesman Lt. Bill Fugate reported that a Ford F-150 was on top of a sedan.

Authorities are investigating.
