RALEIGH, NC : A driver was seriously injuredon April, wednesday 19th 2017

A driver was seriously injured following a crash with a YMCA bus Wednesday evening in Raleigh.

A car collided head-on with the YMCA bus on Lineberry Drive near Mountain Mist Court just before 6 p.m. when the driver of the car pulled out of a driveway into oncoming traffic.

There were 15 children onboard the YMCA bus at the time of the crash, but Jennifer Nelson with the YMCA of the Triangle said none of them were injured.

The driver of the car was taken to WakeMed with non-life threatening injuries.
