RICHMOND, RI : Man killed in I-95 crash in Richmond on Sunday, 20th October 2024

A man was killed last night in a crash that happened on I-95 northbound in Richmond.

According to Rhode Island State Police, the call came in around 6:50 p.m.

Officials said a 16-year-old and his mother were driving a car, towing another car behind them.

In the car they were towing was a man steering the vehicle, identified as the father and husband.

Witnesses told police the family was going well below the “minimum” speed limit and the lights were not on the car.

Police said a construction truck hit the man’s car from behind.

The 51-year-old man was taken to the hospital where has pronounced dead.

Both the 16-year-old and his mot
