Cullman ,AL : Cullman minister killed and two others injured in car crash after they crashed into a 2007 Ford F-150 along County Road on Monday morning ,March 16th 2015

Alabama State Troopers are investigating a Monday morning car crash near Cullman that left a local minister dead and sent two people to the hospital.

Troopers say a Cullman couple was driving a 2012 Toyota Avalon when they crashed into a 2007 Ford F-150 on County Road 1435 about two miles north of Cullman. This happened shortly before 8 a.m. The Toyota's driver, identified as 76-year-old Clenon Junior Shedd, was killed.

Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick said blunt force trauma was the official cause. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers said he was wearing his seat belt.

Shedd's wife was flown to Huntsville Hospital. Kilpatrick said she was listed in stable condition when he last heard.

The pickup truck's driver was taken to Cullman Regional Medical Center.
