Milwaukee, WI : West Bend man dies in two-car crash in the 300 block of N. River Road on Monday afternoon, June 2, 2014

A 58-year-old West Bend man died in a two-car crash in that city Monday, police said.

The crash was reported shortly after 1 p.m. in the 300 block of N. River Road, according to a news release from the West Bend Police Department.

According to the release, the man was traveling north on River Road when the car he was driving crossed into the southbound lane and was struck by a vehicle driven by a 61-year-old West Bend man.

Both men were taken to a hospital, where the 58-year-old man was pronounced dead and the other man was treated for injuries that are not life-threatening, police said.

There were no other occupants in the vehicles, and the crash remained under investigation, according to the release.
