Paducah, KY : Man taken to hospital in single-vehicle wreck on Saturday, June 17, 2017

A man was taken to the hospital Saturday for non-serious injuries after losing control of his truck, McCracken County sheriff's deputies reported.

At 8:59 a.m., deputies responded to a wreck on U.S. 62/Clark's River Road involving a blue 1994 Chevrolet truck. Authorities said 46-year-old Gary Maze of Ledbetter was driving west when he reached for something in the floorboard and lost control, going across the eastbound lanes and hitting a large sign post in a parking area of 4100 Clark's River Road.

Maze was taken to Lourdes hospital by Mercy Regional EMS. The McCracken County Sheriff's Department was assisted by Handley's Towing, the Paducah fire and police departments, and the Reidland and Farley Fire Department.
