Klamath Falls, OR : 2 dead in Highway 50 crash in Klamath Falls on Sunday morning, December 28, 2014

Oregon State Police say two people died in a crash on Highway 50 in Klamath Falls on Sunday morning.

The State Police says the single-vehicle rollover crash happened about 7:40 a.m. on Highway 140 East. A red Ford Ranger pickup was heading west when it left the north side of the roadway, hitting a road-side lamp post and highway sign, then rolling several times into a pasture.

The State Police says Garrett Zimmer, 22, of Hermiston, and Marri D. Young-Wellbaum, 26, of Eagle Point, were ejected from the pickup and died at the scene. A third person in the pickup, Guage L. Gray, 22, of Klamath Falls, was taken to Sky Lakes Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. None of the occupants in the vehicle was wearing seatbelts.
