KANSAS CITY, KS : A motorcyclist was killed after being “torn” from his seat on I-635 on Monday, 4th March 2024

Just after 1 p.m. Monday, a motorcyclist was killed after being “torn” from his seat on I-635.

It happened at I-635 Northbound, just south of 38th Street in Wyandotte County.

Kansas Highway Patrol said the driver, identified as 41-year-old Calder B. Allman from Turney, Missouri, veered off the highway into the shoulder where he was “torn off his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R by a metal piece attached to the wall”.

The driver was wearing a helmet and protective eye gear at the time of the crash.
