CHICO, CA : Chico police responding to vehicle vs pedestrian crash on the Esplanade on Thursday, 12th September 2024

The Chico Police Department is asking people to avoid the Esplanade between 1st Ave and W Sacramento Ave due to an ongoing investigation of a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash.

Police said traffic is expected to be impacted for the next few hours. Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route.

Chico police said the pedestrian has been transported to a local hospital.
