Williamsport,PA : Tractor trailer crashes into pole on May, Thursday 17th 2018

A truck driver escaped injury when his tractor-trailer truck, carrying a bulldozer, crashed into a utility pole on Bald Eagle Road, just off of Route 118, two miles east of here, about 5:15 p.m. Thursday, according to fire officials.
Some utility lines came down, cutting off power to a number of homes in the area until PPL crews made repairs. Tires on the truck caught fire, officials said. The road re-opened shortly before 8 p.m.
