CONCORD, NH : Man killed in Concord UTV accident on Thursday, 1st September 2016

A Concord man was killed Thursday night after crashing his utility vehicle on a trail near his home.Fish and Game officials said Timothy Scannell, 73, went out for a ride around 7 p.m. and did not return, prompting his wife to report him missing.

After searching many local trails, Concord police officers and state troopers found Scannell around 11 p.m. Conservation officers also responded to the scene.

Officials said Scannell was operating a Polaris Ranger when he veered off the trail and struck a tree.The cause of the crash is under investigation.
