Batesville, AR : 38-year-old Leo Martinez dies in crash in Independence County on Friday evening, June 3, 2016

A Batesville man was killed after he ran off the road Friday evening in Independence County.

According to an Arkansas State Police crash summary, 38-year-old Leo Martinez was traveling westbound in the 800-block of Bethesda Road when he lost control of his 2003 Ford pick-up and hit a utility pole.

After hitting the pole, he then hit three parked vehicles before rolling over.

The crash happened at around 5:30 p.m.

It was cloudy at the time of the accident but the reports said the road conditions were dry.
