Sullivan County, TN : One person dead after a motorcycle crash near the South Holston Rescue Squad on Sunday, July 17, 2016

Tennessee Highway Patrol has identified the man driving the motorcycle as 66 year old Cecil Gross of Bristol, Virginia.

THP says Gross was driving his motorcycle along Highway 421 when a Toyota Camry pulled out in front of him from Bristol Caverns Highway.

The motorcycle crashed into the side of the Camry sending Gross over the car. Gross died in the crash.

Tennessee Highway Patrol says one person is dead after a motorcycle and a car collide in Sullivan County.

Sullivan County Sheriff's deputies and Tennessee Highway Patrol were on the scene of a a wreck on Highway 421.

The crash happened near the South Holston Rescue Squad. It involved a motorcycle and a car.

THP confirmed the 66-year-old driver of the motorcyle is dead. Charges are pending.

Sullivan County Captain Andy Seabolt says Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating.
