Nashua, NH : Dump truck driver found not guilty in fatal crash on Wednesday December 9 2015
A dump truck driver was found not guilty Wednesday of negligent homicide in the death of a woman in a 2014 crash.Kyle Witty, 45, was driving his truck in Merrimack when it crashed into a minivan. Elizabeth McQuinn, 60, was killed.
Prosecutors accused him of running a red light at the intersection of Route 101A. Defense attorneys blamed trees that were blocking Witty's view of the lights and said the trees were cut down two weeks after the crash.
The jury deliberated for about an hour before finding Witty not guilty.
