Gary, IN : Portage woman injured in Liberty Township crash on Wednesday, October, 18th 2017

A Portage woman was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries Wednesday afternoon after a two-vehicle accident in Liberty Township.

Deputies with the Porter County Sheriff's Department responded around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday to an accident at County Road 600 North and Indiana 49, according to a release from Sgt. Jamie Erow, the department's public information officer.
